MARC Advocates at the ARC Capitol Luncheon

On April 30th, MARC, Inc. proudly participated in the ARC’s Capitol Luncheon, where we had the opportunity to advocate for increased nonprofit funding and share the importance of services that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

During the event, we connected with several key legislators and Department of Developmental Services (DDS) leadership, including:

State Representative Steve Weir

State Representative Jason Doucette

State Representative Tom Delnicki

State Representative Geoff Luxenberg

State Representative Jill Barry

State Representative Patrick Biggins

DDS Commissioner Jordan Scheff

DDS Deputy Commissioner Elisa Velardo

With potential federal budget cuts on the horizon, it’s more important than ever for organizations like MARC to speak up. We encourage you to contact your legislators and share why nonprofit services like MARC are vital to our communities.
