Thanks For Your Generosity
In July, we both faced significant financial challenges as we endeavored to raise funds for both the flood victims and our own budgetary requirements. As a congregation, you responded with unwavering support. To date, we have raised over $6,600.00 for flood victims, and your contributions to the church’s budget have exceeded $20,000.00. While we acknowledge that our financial situation continues to be a challenge (with anticipated expenses for the month of July being factored in), your generosity has provided us with a glimmer of hope.
Your unwavering generosity is deeply appreciated by the Governing Board and by your dedicated staff team.

Worship Tech Ministry Needs YOU!
If you enjoy or are curious about technology, or if you care about our worship services being seen and heard well, we need you! We will be having a Tech Info Session this Sunday, July 27th.
We will meet for 10-15 minutes after the 11:00 service ends to explore some of the different tech roles and collect contact information on any who might be called to serve! Extensive training will be available; no experience necessary. Volunteers typically serve on a monthly rotation basis.
For more info, contact davida@wellumc.org, or simply plan to attend the next info session!

| New Social Principles Book Available!
Teaming up with The General Board of Church and Society, Cokesbury has completed the editing and production of the official book, Social Principles of The United Methodist Church 2025-2028.
First adopted by the 1972 General Conference, the official Social Principles document stands in the Wesleyan tradition of forthright moral witness and ethical action. We encourage you to read and become familiar with them.
The Social Principles articulate The United Methodist Church’s ethical aspirations for the common good in public policies and personal commitments. Through them, we seek to love God with our whole heart, mind, soul, and strength and to desire for our neighbors what we desire for ourselves.
Copies are available for purchase from Cokesbury for individual or group study.
