First-Ever Student Auxiliary Committee
Every year, when high school sophomores apply to be our student board member, we're incredibly impressed. Last spring, we were again so blown away by the students we interviewed that we invited them all to be part of the Foundation's inaugural Student Auxiliary Committee.
Fortunately for us, they all agreed to be a part of it, and this amazing group of students not only helped set up and clean up The Taste of East Grand Rapids in Gaslight Village, but they also volunteered meeting and greeting families--and helping kids spin our prize wheel--at the Foundation's tent during the event.
The Student Auxiliary Committee will work with our two student board members, junior Caleb Rapoport and senior Tanyon Sanders, to extend the reach of the Foundation to more of our student body.
We're looking forward to having this talented, dedicated group of students help spread the word about what the Foundation does for our students, our schools, and our community!
