Set at least one academic and one personal goal for the spring semester. Write down your goals, including the objectives you hope to achieve and the steps you will take to reach them. Create a timeline for accomplishing each task towards reaching your goals.

📚How Do I Pay for My Textbooks? |
If you choose to purchase your books from the 📍Co-op Store and have a pending financial aid refund, you can use it to purchase books and other educational resources through the drop/add deadline. You can check for an estimated refund in your EasyPay account. All you’ll need at the Co-op Store is your name, student ID, and I-Card.

The IUP Library and ACT 101 Program offer free textbook lending services through the Stapleton Library. For more information on available books, please visit the 📍Circulation Desk or contact the University College at universitycollege-inquiry@iup.edu.

IUP Basketball will open the semester with a doubleheader against Edinboro on Wednesday, January 21, in the 📍KCAC. The top 10-ranked women’s team will tip off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men’s at 7:30 p.m. You can check out the live stats for both the women’s and the men’s games.

Start the spring semester and the new year off by getting involved in at least one extracurricular activity. Crimson Connect lists all IUP student organizations and groups that you can explore. See something of interest? Reach out to the organization using their contact information in Crimson Connect to learn how you can get involved.

Interested in joining a small group? Young Life may be the perfect fit. Join the group on Thursday, January 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the 📍Elkin Hall Great Room for fellowship and Bible study.

Take care of yourself and avoid catching the flu. Wash your hands often, especially after touching frequently used surfaces, using the bathroom, and before eating. Cover your cough and sneezes. Consider wearing a mask in public. Get a flu shot at 📍IUP Health Service.
If you do become sick, avoid close contact with others until you feel better or are fever-free. Flu symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, headache, and fatigue. Call 724-357-2550 or email health-inquiry@iup.edu with questions.
