Hi Team, 

I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued engagement with Lesson Connect and for the thoughtful feedback many of you have shared. We’ve heard clearly that you want more visibility into how Ski & Snowboard School shows up for our guests in the My Epic app—and how your actions during the day translate into a real experience for families. I’m excited to share a bit more context and appreciation around that today. 

First, let’s take a look at how Ski & Snowboard School impacts our guests’ experiences. Guests consistently shared that the combination of great instruction and the Ski & Snowboard School features in the My Epic app creates a more professional, organized, and confidence‑building experience. Many highlighted how digital check‑in, progress tracking, and post‑lesson summaries made their day easier and helped them clearly understand what their child—or they themselves—learned. Parents especially valued receiving photos and updates throughout the day, noting that these moments helped them stay connected to the lesson even when they weren’t on snow. Take a look at what our guests are saying: 

  • “I really appreciated the feedback that was provided within the app for our daughter. She earned badges, it showed us which skills she mastered, as well as what level to sign her up for next time.” - Local Guest at Beaver Creek

Recently, we also captured a few short videos from a parent’s point of view that highlight the Ski & Snowboard School experience in My Epic. These videos show a busy ski day through a family’s eyes—from digital check-in in the morning to checking progress updates during the lesson. What stands out most is how calm and confident learners and parents feel knowing they or their child is checked in, learning, and progressing. That peace of mind is created directly by your work in Lesson Connect.

  • Digital check in features, including lift access validation and eROL completion 
  • Check in information, including Ski & Snowboard School check in locations and times 
  • In Lesson Updates, including photos and timing progress 
  • Post Lesson Summary, including photos, skill review, and skill advice 
  • Upcoming Lessons and the ability to book future lessons  

While these features and moments may feel small when you’re in the flow of teaching, they make a meaningful difference to the guest experience. 

You directly provide the guest these tools and features by: 

  • Using the most recent version of Lesson Connect 
  • Building the correct lesson in Lesson Connect, including Ski & Snowboard School location, age, and skill level 
  • Starting the lesson on time as you leave the group forming area 
  • Tagging and sending at least 2 photos to My Epic 
  • Completing the lesson after lesson check out 
  • Correctly reviewing and submitting skills for your students
