Clinical Pathology Leadership Changes

Effective July 1, 2023, there will be several changes in clinical pathology leadership. Dr. Suzanne Thibodeaux will assume the role of Medical Director for the Apheresis Center at BJH. She will succeed Dr. Brenda Grossman, who has served as Medical Director since 2011 and overseen tremendous growth of apheresis services provided to patients at BJH.
In addition, Dr. Thibodeaux and Dr. Chang Liu will be co-heads of the new Blood Bank/Apheresis/CTL/HLA section. The previous section was headed by Dr. Brenda Grossman and did not include HLA. Dr. Grossman will continue in her role as Medical Director of the BJH Blood Bank.
