Highlights – August 2025

Bikes on the Bricks

Come out to Bikes on the Bricks to explore biking on campus and meet our vendors. Bring your bike (if you have one), get a free check-up, register your bike, and grab some free bike gear!

August 19, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Stafford Commons

WolfTrails Registration

If you get to campus by transit, carpooling, biking, or walking, you are eligible to join the WolfTrails sustainable commuter program. As a member, you’ll enjoy commuter benefits like free occasional-use parking and discounted EV charging rates.

GoPass

Request a GoPass for 2025-26 to ride GoRaleigh and GoTriangle buses for free. If you don’t have a smartphone and need a physical card, email ncsu-wolftrails@ncsu.edu

Packapalooza

Fill up Hillsborough Street and join us for Packapalooza, a highlight of Welcome Week! Don’t forget to stop by the transportation booth for some free giveaways.

Transit

Wolfline Fall Service

Wolfline Summer Service will end on August 17, and Fall Service will begin on August 18. Check the Wolfline website for updated routes and schedules!

August GoTriangle Service Changes

Starting August 3, GoTriangle is updating schedules with more frequent weekday service and new evening and Sunday options. Visit GoTriangle for more information.

 

Bike

Bike Registration

Register your bike at NC State is free and required. Registering will keep your bike safe from theft and allows us to better plan and improve bike facilities across campus.

Campus Bike Services

NC State’s campus has several bike amenities, such as fix-it stations, bike racks, greenway trails, and more! Take a look at the map to explore all the perks available.

Downtown Raleigh SPIN & Lime E-Bikes

Dockless electric bikes SPIN and Lime are rolling out in downtown Raleigh from summer 2025 until summer 2026, offering more flexibility and access to bikeshare.
