A week to honor and celebrate all who served and those who continue to serve in our nation’s military, Veterans Week at UW-Whitewater begins today. Programming includes on-campus events each day throughout the week, including the annual Veterans Day Ceremony and a reception for the “Fur, Feathers, and Fidelity: Military Mascots” exhibit at Roberta’s Art Gallery on Tuesday, Nov. 11. Veterans and current service members were offered free admission to the Warhawk football game over the weekend.

Faculty and staff are invited to learn more about Mantra Health and Togetherall — supplemental mental health programs available to Universities of Wisconsin students — this Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m. The session is specifically designed for on-campus faculty and staff who want to learn more about the programs.

The artwork of Janet Nelson, an art major from Cambridge, Wisconsin, is on display in Gallery II at the Overture Center in Madison until Nov. 30.
