GREETINGS FROM THE DIRECTOR |
|
|
|
I hope you have had a relaxing summer. With the fall semester about to begin, students are returning to campus, and President McInnis gave her welcome address to the Class of 2029. There’s optimism in the air even as the Yale community continues to process the challenges to higher education in recent months. I know this has been a concern for many of you, and I’m grateful for the many ways that you have advocated for Yale among your peers and beyond.

It was a joy to watch our volunteers in the 0s and 5s gather on campus—many for the first time in ten years—for their reunions last spring. While I hope you will enjoy revisiting some special moments and check out the reunion gift totals below, we’re already planning reunion gift campaigns for the 1s and 6s. If you would like to serve as a fundraising volunteer this year, please reach out to us!
Warmly,
Chris Seager
Director, Reunion Giving

After graduating during the COVID-19 lockdown, the Class of 2020 returned to campus this May to celebrate their fifth reunion and reflect on the parts of the Yale experience that matter to them most.

Though the weather could have been better, it couldn’t chill the warmth of friendships formed and renewed during Reunions 2025. Visit our digital scrapbook to relive some favorite moments during last spring’s celebrations.

The Class of 1980 set a new 45th reunion gift record, and the Classes of 1975 and 1985 raised more than $1 million each for the Alumni Fund in a single year.
