Dear Researchers,
Welcome back to the start of a new academic year! We hope your summer was productive, enjoyable, and allowed for at least some relaxation. Fall is just around the corner. We're looking forward to the turning of the leaves, cooler weather, and football (Go Irish!). Please see all the funding opportunities below, as well as some upcoming events.
The Annual Meeting is in Indianapolis on September 18. Three members of our Department of Biological Sciences will participate in a morning "Research Blitz" at the meeting. Dana Klatt Shaw, Xin Lu, and Katrina Adams will share brief presentations on cutting-edge science spanning gene therapy, pharmacogenomics, cancer biology, immunotherapy, neuroregeneration, metabolism, and precision medicine.
The Notre Dame Summit is on October 21 at the Morris Inn on campus. Please register to attend and enjoy a day filled with research and scholarship around the theme, "Advancing Mental Health Through Translational Research and Partnerships."
As always, things come at you fast at the start of the academic year. Please don't hesitate to reach out should we be able to be of support.
Sincerely,
Melanie DeFord, Deputy Director and Assistant Vice President for Research
Prakash Nallathamby, Notre Dame Navigator of the Indiana CTSI
