Dear Eagle Nation:
It was an evening of elegance, as more than 700 of our friends and supporters donned their best looks for a night of glitz, glamour, entertainment, and celebration at Coppin State University's 2nd Annual Gala. Held on Friday, May 4, at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel, the signature philanthropic event highlighted the positive impact and achievements of Coppin and its students.

I challenged our supporters and friends to consider how they could do more to help our students BE MORE! As "One Coppin," we all have a responsibility to ensure their dreams of becoming a college graduate become a reality.
Since 1900 we have shown ourselves as a university that is invaluable and irreplaceable. At Coppin, we have an unwavering and unmatched commitment to nurturing potential and transforming lives.
Coppin State generous sponors
Thank you again to our Division of Institutional Advancement and the Coppin State University Development Foundation Board, as well as our magnificent sponsors, our elected officials, our faculty, staff, and alumni for their continued partnership and commitment to helping Coppin and our students soar. I want to encourage each of us to BE MORE for Coppin in any way we can.
Together, we raised $370,000, and are still counting, to support and enhance Coppin State University’s work to nurture potential and transform lives through education, fulfill its responsibilities as an anchor institution in Baltimore, and further elevate its status as a leader in urban higher education.
Individuals and organizations interested in supporting Coppin State University can contact the Division of Institutional Advancement by calling 410.951.3800 or visiting  https://www.coppin.edu/give.
