KU Design Week | April 13-17
Organized entirely by students, KU Design Week is an annual weeklong series of workshops, social events, and discussion sessions that allows students to engage design thinking and making outside of the academic studio setting. Participation in KUDW is free and open to all ArcD students, but registration for certain events is required.

The 2026 AIA National Photography Competition
The competition is open to all architects and architectural students across the country. Top-awarded photographs receive a cash prize and included is the Student Award, specifically awarded to an entry from architectural student photographer. Architectural Record is the Media Sponsor of the competition, and they announce all the recognized images nationally and display the top-awarded photographs at their booth at the AIA National Conference, which will take place in San Diego this coming year.
Submission deadline: April 15, 2026

The AIA St. Louis Scholarship Fund
The AIA St. Louis Scholarship Fund offers opportunities for students that are born or raised in the AIA St. Louis region and are studying architecture in their third, fourth, fifth year or performing graduate work at an NAAB accredited school of architecture (the University may be located anywhere in the US). Students will be asked to complete and application and if they meet the criteria, we will contact them to schedule a personal interview between the applicant and the Scholarship Fund Committee.

We are seeking a motivated Architect or Emerging Architect interested in design leadership within a collaborative design-build environment.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about rural architecture and community-focused design. While recent graduates are welcome, candidates should have some experience and a strong interest in becoming a licensed architect and eventually leading the firm’s architecture team.
Because our practice centers on design-build, we are looking for a collaborative professional who enjoys working across disciplines and engaging directly with communities to move projects from concept through construction.
