Friends, we have so much to celebrate! God's blessings are falling all over Eastern Fairfax. Join us in praising God for reaching two major milestones. |
The first milestone, our Taste of Eastern Fairfax Young Life, was our biggest annual fundraiser yet.
Surrounded by flags representing the countries of our area, we enjoyed sweet fellowship and outstanding ethnic food served by students. We were then treated to precious testimonies from three students from our different ministries. Many answered our invitation to partner! Our financial goal was lofty, but we are thrilled to share that we reached our $50k goal!!! We're praising God for your generosity and for your desire to be part of the mission to reach EFX teens with the love and hope of Jesus.
One friend commented, "Amid the smells of Chick-fil-A, Taco Rock, and papaya was the distinct aroma of the Holy Spirit working in his people. What a blessing to be here!"

Our second milestone-- Fall Camp Weekend was the first time all three ministries sent students to the same Rockbridge Weekend. Vida Joven students and YoungLives mothers and babies attended as campers, and the Justice Young Life students served on the work crew. You can't help but praise God when you see these smiling faces from Eastern Fairfax.
God's love is falling around our students at Justice and Falls Church High Schools faster than the leaves in my front yard. Clubs, Campaigners' bible study, Contact Work, and Camp are bearing fruit for the kingdom. To Him be the Glory!

| Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your love and your faithfulness Psalm 115:1 |

| Students ‘Gobble’ Up Vida Joven |
Last weekend, 12 Vida Joven students were able to go to the fall weekend, to laugh, enjoy God's beautiful creation, and most importantly, to hear the good news of the gospel! Many meaningful conversations were had and several students shared their desire to start or grow in their relationship with Christ!
Students enjoyed Wednesday “cafecito con pan” (coffee and bread) after school at FCHS. Over 25 students arrived to relax, have fun, play games and build healthy community. Each week more new students arrive, and they are bringing their friends! God has been so faithful in his work and provision!

| Vida Joven Prayer Requests
Praise God for the students who attended Rockbridge Fall Weekend and for those students who have been faithfully coming to Mañaneros weekly bible study. May they continue to grow in their faith and trust in the Lord.

| Justice Wolves Howl for Young Life |
Justice Young Life has been running full steam ahead this fall! With weekly campaigners and monthly club, time with kids has been fun and meaningful. Two highlights have been bi-weekly small groups and taking six kids to serve at camp this past weekend! Our students are hearing God's call to serve their friends and invite them into full life with Jesus!

| Justice Young Life Prayer Requests
Praise God for the students and leaders who served YoungLives, Vida Joven and other campers as part of the Rockbridge's Work Crew.
Please pray for new leaders for Young Life, particularly young men, to hear the call of God to our ministry.
Pray for fruitful Contact Work to open new doors to new high school students, especially in the Freshman and Sophomore classes.

| YoungLives is the sweetest treat! |
YoungLives is all in the fall semester! We're meeting new moms almost every week in our Parenting Workshop at Justice High School.
We brought moms and students to Rockbridge Fall Weekend. One of our moms stood up at the say-so to commit her life with her mentor standing beside her. The angels were singing as she put her faith in Jesus.
Our Fall Club was filled with laughter and love as the young moms learned about Jesus as their ultimate redeemer who loves them, and all of us, unconditionally.
| YoungLives Prayer Requests
Praise God for the mom who accepted Jesus into her life. Please pray for her as she seeks to know Jesus more for herself and her child.
Please pray for our other mommas who are really considering what it means to follow Jesus with their whole lives!
