Employee of the Month
AminaCongratulations to our November Employee of the Month, Amina!
Amina has been with us for just over a year now, you'll find her manning the Service Desk early in the morning, greeting you with her mischievous smile. She has devoted much of her young life to health, fitness and nutrition. She exemplifies her passion for fitness through her dedication to taekwondo. When she isn't at the club, you'll find her training, walking her dogs or food prepping and always striving for the perfect amount of sleep.
We are proud to have Amina as part of our team here at Active Wellness Center Petaluma and excited to see where she takes off in the health and nutrition world!

Member of the Month
Ed WayneWeāre excited to highlight our November Member of the Month, Ed! A fifth-generation San Francisco Italian, Ed has been a member of the club since the Club One days. His favorite activities include cycling, stretching and utilizing the lap pool. āIām all about the stretching,ā he says. Consistently working out helps Ed with his arthritis and vestibular neuritis and when he needs a little extra motivation, he thinks of his grandkids.
Outside of the club, Ed enjoys cooking, gardening, golfing, traveling and helping people in need.
Weāre happy to celebrate you as one of our awesome members, Ed! Keep up the great work.

In Memory of Neil Osmer Neil was the undisputed Mayor of Active Wellness Center Petaluma. He greeted all the swimmers and loved nothing better than being surrounded by and talking with friends. He had a big heart and plenty of tie-dye.
Neil found time to say āhelloāĀ to everyone, with grace, happiness and with no judgment. He made every single person who crossed his path (or walked by his seat by the pool) feel welcomed, important, special, loved and not overlooked.Ā
He taught us all how to be friends to each other. He brought brownies, and organized swimmer lunches. He loved handball, biking, cooking, backpacking, his neighborhood, friends, and dogs.
Born November 22, 1952 in Watsonville, he passed in late September, and will be forever loved and missed by our community of friends.Ā
