Dear AU Community,
The American University Police Department (AUPD) was notified by a community member that they were inappropriately touched on March 28th, 2025, while in a bathroom stall by an unknown individual. This incident occurred in the Asbury Building lower-level men’s bathroom at approximately 5:00 pm - 5:36 pm.
The suspect was described as a white, middled age male, wearing brown oxford shoes, and a gold ring on his left hand.
