TRIP TO GERMANY!

ZOOM THURSDAY, MARCH 9 AT 6 P.M.
Mr. Contreras is hosting an informational Zoom about the student tour to Germany in 2024. Find out how what students will see and do on the trip, how your child can earn academic credit and more. RSVP for the Zoom here.

SUBMIT TO THE LITERARY ANTHOLOGY

WRITERS: Share your voice, tell your story, and have the opportunity to be published! Entries may include short story, short essay (1 page or less), or a poem. Submissions are due by Friday, March 17 and should be given to the student's English teacher.
ARTISTS: To enter, artists should create an 8.5” x 11” piece of artwork that represents our Anthology and include the text "Revere Literary Anthology 2023." Submissions are due by Friday, March 17 to Mrs. Mello. The chosen pieces will either be on the cover of the Anthology or inside. 

GET ROLLING ON SHORT FILMS

Start creating short films for the 9th Annual Paul Revere Film Festival! Entries are due Friday, March 31. View the film festival launch video here. For submission guidelines and to view montages of prior film festivals, click here

AUTHOR VISIT INSPIRING

Wrapping up a month of events for Black History Month, students were treated to an inspiring virtual visit from author Jerry Craft. Craft spoke about his book "New Kid," which approximately 80 percent of students read prior to his visit. Those who did not have the opportunity to read his book before the visit will be reading it at a later date. 

READ A BOOK & RAISE FUNDS!

Come join our first-ever book club fundraiser on Wednesday, April 12 as we discuss the book "Behind Their Screens." Let’s read, learn and raise money for Paul Revere! Come in person and mingle with other parents (limited space) or join via Zoom. Either way, enjoy the discussion. Click here for more info.
