Felix Battle ’26 Wins Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to Germany |

Felix Battle ’26 has been awarded the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award and will spend a year in Germany working as an assistant teacher in a German public school.
“I’m really excited for the opportunity to both teach and learn in Germany,” says Battle, who double majored in History-Political Science and German Studies. “Spending a year in Germany will be a great addition to the learning that I have done at CC and abroad. I’m excited to be working with German faculty and to share my experiences with German students in the classroom.”

The CC photo library now includes an open access CC stock photography collection that can be used in campus materials without searching the DAM or needing a DAM license. The public stock library will be updated yearly, with additional stock photo and video b-roll collections refreshed quarterly, making it easier to find visuals that help tell CC’s story. After all, a picture is worth 1,000 words, and the right one can say something powerful.

Nearly 570 graduates earned their degrees and celebrated the culmination of their Colorado College careers at Commencement 2026, held Sunday, May 17, at Ed Robson Arena. President Manya Whitaker, Board of Trustees Chair Kyle Samuel ’92, and Commencement Speaker Dee Bradley Baker ’86 were among those who addressed the Class of 2026 and a packed arena of loved ones.

Barker and Smeal Are All-Americans |
Allison Barker ’26 and Oliver Smeal ’28 each collected a second-team All-America honor Saturday on the final day of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in La Crosse, Wis.
Barker earned her first career All-America nod with an 11th-place finish in the women's 1500 final on Saturday. She crossed the line with a time 4:28.26 and joins former Tigers Annabel Arnott ’96 and Isabel Olson ’25 as All-Americans in the event.
