UTA West campus rendering

On Aug. 27, the city of Fort Worth agreed to provide $4 million from its Economic Development Initiatives Fund for critical infrastructure development for the new UTA West campus. UTA in turn will install several public service utilities on the site and construct an inner campus road. “This announcement is another example of the public and private sectors working together to serve the communities in our region,” said UTA President Jennifer Cowley. “I want to thank the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership for its leadership and partnership on our plan to bring a new campus dedicated to fostering economic development and meeting the educational needs of one of the fastest-growing areas in the country.”
