Standing Operational Group (SOG) Updates

Space Governance is developing criteria and a rubric for assessing space transition requests, which will guide a request process. They are also forming a subgroup to align space-related databases and will use the space assessment to identify vacant areas on campus while gathering insights from other institutions on implementing similar assessments.

Temporary Operational Group (TOG) Updates

Parent & Family Experience has finalized its recommendations and submitted them to campus leadership. These recommendations will be shared with the campus community after review.

Sustainability has finalized a contract with McKinstry to develop an Energy Master Plan for the College. The plan will forecast energy needs for the next 20 years and develop strategies to meet those needs in a way that aligns with our sustainability commitments.

Policy Administration

The following policy is now available for the 30-day comment period, which will close May 1. Below, you will find the rationale for the proposed draft of this new policy. To review the full text of the policy, please visit the Policy Administration section on the Policies website.

CC Sponsored Trips Policy
This policy ensures that every CC-sponsored trip that leaves CC has a minimum level of support, accountability, risk, and emergency management in place. The policy creates a consistent system for training trip leaders, tracking trips, and supporting emergencies.
