| Dear Graduate School Community,
I want to acknowledge that February has been a challenging month thus far-- from the devastating earthquake in Turkey to the tragedy at Michigan State. I encourage you to check in with your fellow students and reach out if you need help.
This week we hosted the spring Graduate School Career Colloquium. To those of you who attended sessions, I hope that you have soaked up the knowledge from our panelists and will continue to build upon what you have learned. On February 28, the Graduate School will be hosting an Elevator Pitch Competition – it is not too late to sign up.
I am also pleased to announce and congratulate the students who recently received Lacy-Fischer Interdisciplinary Research Grants for spring 2023. These students are collaborating across disciplines to advance innovative research.
Finally, I look forward to celebrating Graduate Student Appreciation Week, April 3- 7. I hope to see you at the many events that are planned.
Best,
