| Muhlenberg Announces Four-Year Financial Aid Guarantee
|
This week, the College notified admitted students from the Class of 2028 that the most recent merit and need-based financial aid offers they received this spring will never be reduced during their four years at Muhlenberg.

| Professor of Biology Marten Edwards Named a Fulbright U.S. Scholar
|
Edwards will investigate tick biology and tick-borne human pathogens in Mexico this fall, including leading workshops for public health workers on how to collect and identify ticks that may be of concern.

| Hall of Fame Adds Five Individuals and One Team
|
Spencer Liddic '12 (basketball), Ruth Gibbs (softball coach), Rob Lokerson '95 (football), Alexandra Chili '12 (basketball), Steve Nemes (athletic trainer) and the 1989 softball team were inducted into the Muhlenberg College Athletic Hall of Fame on April 5.

Conducted by the Muhlenberg Institute of Public Opinion in conjunction with the Public Health Program, the report examines opinions on various health issues including the quality of health care, prevalence of opioid abuse, restrictions for firearms and abortion services, and levels of stress related to politics and current events.

| In Memoriam: Emeritus Professor of English Nelvin Vos
|
Nelvin Vos, who also served as vice president and dean of the College from 1987-1993, died on March 19. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13, at 10 a.m. in Egner Memorial Chapel.

Manager of The 'Berg Bookshop Karen Normann was inducted as President of the New England Buying Consortium (NEBC) on March 23 in Windsor, CT. The NEBC is a national buying consortium that the bookstore belongs to which offers better pricing from 80+ vendors which she can then pass on to her customers. Karen has been on the Board for several years and attends their annual meeting regularly.
Professor of Chemistry Keri L. Colabroy along with co-authors Sara Ringenbach ’23, Riri Yoza ’23, Paige A. Jones ’22, Muxue Du ’21 and Kameron L. Klugh and Larryn W. Peterson of Rhodes College recently published a paper titled "Discovery and characterization of l-DOPA 2,3-dioxygenase from Streptomyces hygroscopicus jingganensis." Read more
