With a decades-long track record of pursuing impactful, innovative technologies to improve women's health around the world, I can not think of a more deserving recipient. Please join me in congratulating Nimmi, and let us all work to follow the exceptional example she sets each and every day.

Duke Engineering has a long history of acting as a convening force, bringing together the brightest, most ambitious laureates in their fields to pursue truly transformative projects. I was extremely excited to see the momentum around edge AI technologies that was built recently through a once-in-a-lifetime gathering of academics, thought leaders, and investors in Abu Dhabi. For more than a decade, Jason Luck and his team in the Injury Biomechanics Laboratory have been leading one of the longest-running studies of youth head impact exposure in the country. Armed with this incredibly rich information, they are now creating a modern, unified data pipeline that connects all the pieces of this massive, complex project.
