| Community Work Day: Field Cleanup
Saturday, November 18th, 2023 | 9:00am - 12:00pm
Community members of all ages are invited to join us for a morning of shared work. Many hands make lighter work, and there's a lot to be done as we ready the fields for the winter season. Be prepared to get dirty rain or shine as we work together to remove infrastructure and spent plants from the growing fields, and tidy the space up for cover crops, rest, and revitalization over the next few months.
All ages and abilities are welcome. Stay for as long or as little as you would like.
Registration is not required, but it is helpful to know to expect you.

| Monthly Old-Time Music Jam
First Saturdays, 11:30am - 3:30pm | 11/4 and 12/2
The Old Time Music Jam is a monthly gathering of acoustic musicians who play traditional Appalachian fiddle music. Bring your own meal and join in or listen in on an informal jam session. Musicians of all levels are welcome. Come to play or just to listen, bring your family and friends, and enjoy the community music can create!
"Old-time music represents perhaps the oldest form of North American traditional music other than Native American music, and thus the term "old-time" is an appropriate one. Appalachian and Southern fiddle-based and religious music began using "old-time music" as a term to describe the music sometimes referred to as "old-timey" or "mountain music" by long-time practitioners."
