TOMORROW! Visit Hueston Woods State Park for Maple Syrup Festival!
|
|
|
Join students from all over the world in a trip to Hueston Woods for the 2023 Maple Syrup Festival! Participants will have the opportunity to take a hay ride through the sugar trail and learn about making maple syrup, as well as hike an Ohio nature preserve. There will also be the option for a pancake brunch ($9/adult extra fee) at Hueston Woods Lodge, and maple syrup and other treats will be available for purchase.

Don’t forget to turn your clocks forward one hour on Saturday night! Daylight Savings begins at 2 am on Sunday morning.

The Nepalese Students' Society will celebrate the Fagu Purnima (फागु पुर्णिमा), a Nepalese festival of colors, in Dogwood Grove tomorrow. This festival is celebrated with colors, music, sweets, and, most of all, water. In addition, the participants put colors on one another, a token of love.

Spring Break 2023
Spring Break for Miami University is a week away! From March 18 to March 26, there will be no classes and some university services will be closed or have shorter hours. Check the specific Miami facilities and services websites for schedule details. Please note the following:

If you plan on traveling outside of Oxford, Hamilton, or Middletown during the Spring Break, arrange accordingly for your residence hall or off-campus residence (turn off electronics, secure doors and windows, arrange pet care, etc.).

If you plan on traveling outside of the U.S. during Spring Break, make sure your required documents and travel signature are up to date.

Residence halls close at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 and will reopen at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

Many students choose to leave campus during Spring Break, but students who need to stay after closing should complete a Break Housing Request Form, which can be found through on-campus housing portal.
