Ana Estrella, one of our program advisors, was honored at the GVSU King-Chavez-Parks Fellowship Luncheon in September as a recipient of this Future Faculty Fellowship. Ana is a student in the combined program for her Master of Science in Occupational Science and post-professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy program. She aspires to become both a practicing occupational therapist and a professor, continuing her mission to expand access, representation, and opportunity in the field.
Alaysha Cannon, a Battle Creek Scholars Alum, was also honored as a recipient of the KCP Fellowship. Alaysha is pursing her Master of Science in Public Health with an emphasis in Epidemiology. She aspires to continue her work in Higher Education to promote access and equity in the Health Care field.

Noah Prysock, a Senior in the Battle Creek Scholars Program, had the honor of speaking at the Michigan Listens Event in November to share his educational journey and triumph over adversity. Winter Semester Payment Reminders

The Office of Student Accounts is available to assist with questions about payments or refunds at studenta@gvsu.edu or (616) 331-2209

There are several ways to pay a bill including Credit Card, Check, Money Order, 529 Plan, or the Deferment Plan.

The Deferment Plan spreads payments out over the semester into 4 payments. Students can select the Deferment Plan in their Banner Account under Student>Student Account>Student Account Information>Payment Plans. Students can set up their Direct Deposit information for Refunds in the Student Account Information section as well.
