Davis Departs: Audacy KMLE/Phoenix morning co-host Cheyenne Davis has departed, sharing on social media, "This is God closing a chapter for me to start the next big thing in my life. I am so beyond grateful [for] the opportunity and love that Phoenix has given me." Davis has been paired with Niko Petrou since last year (CAT 1/13/25), and Gunner Jackson prior to his departure in 2024 (CAT 11/25/24). Davis and
Jackson joined KMLE in 2019 (CAT 12/16/19) from Townsquare KDBL/Yakima, WA, where they had been teamed since 2018. Reach her here. Petrou is currently listed solo on the station's web site; no word on plans for the position.

He Is Rizzin: “I’m humbled by this next chapter and thankful that God qualifies the unqualified," says newly named K-LOVE Chief Media Officer Gator Harrison. In his new role on the Ministry Leadership Team, Harrison will oversee the K-LOVE and Air1 radio networks, live events and partnerships. Harrison's radio career began in 1986 and took him to stations including WGSQ/Cookeville, TN; Top 40 WYHY/Nashville; and Classic Rock WSMT/Sparta, TN, before joining iHeartMedia/Chattanooga in 2010 (CAT 7/9/10) and rising to Nashville SVPP and WSIX PD in 2016 (CAT 9/1/16). He co-founded Believers, a faith-based collective of music business professionals, in 2015. His first day is May 11.

Kick Line: Kickin Kountry 101 personality Mel B has moved to a newly created Dir./Content Creation position, and will be covering weekend overnights. She joined the digital station last month to host a 10am-noon show (CAT 3/5). Former WYNK/Baton Rouge APD/MD/afternoon host Austin James, who also joined Kickin Kountry last month as APD/MD/evening host, is now on from 10am-3pm.
Gerry “G-Man” Snyder, who had been tracking 12–3pm, has stepped away from the business. WQBE/Charleston, WV night personality Jason Murphy has moved from late mornings to nights. Lauren “The Country Barbie” Spencer has shifted from weekend overnights to weekday overnights, which had previously been music intensive.

Tour Support: Tracy Lawrence has added a second leg of his current No Alibis Tour comprising 33 shows including San Antonio, Tucson and Green Bay. The tour began last month and will now run through October, including a May date at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. Itinerary and tickets (4/24) here. |

Chronicle: Nashville guitarist Wayne Moss has died. He played on records for Patsy Cline, George Hamilton IV, Waylon Jennings, Loretta Lynn, Charley Pride, Bob Dylan, Linda Ronstadt and many others, and was the owner of Nashville recording studio Cinderella Sound. Roy Orbison Jr. shared on Instagram, "A member of Nashville’s A-team of musicians, Wayne was my dad’s good friend and played on all the Roy Orbison Monument hits: 'Only The Lonely,' 'Crying' and 'Oh, Pretty Woman,' [as well as] thousands of country music hits. That’s his guitar on 'Jolene' by Dolly Parton." Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum CEO Kyle Young called Moss "a musical torchbearer and a creative pathfinder who left his own resounding stamp on music history." Read more about him here.
