The Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery (Sydney Nursing School) will welcome Ms Nadine Gray, National Chief Nurse for Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora to campus to deliver the 2025 Distinguished Nursing Lecture titled ‘Change is an opportunity to reflect: How did I get here, what do I value, and where are we going?’.
Nadine has a proven track record of strategic leadership, clinical expertise, and a deep commitment to advancing Māori health outcomes. As a member of the NZ National Clinical Leadership Team Nadine ensures that clinical advice and expertise underpins strategic decision-making, especially for service design and delivery. She holds a Master of Health Sciences with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Nursing and is currently an adjunct teaching fellow at the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Practice at Victoria University of Wellington.
