Wednesday, January 15 at 6 AM
The Powder Party continues this morning at Stowe as we have received at least 4 inches of fluffy snow overnight! That brings our 24-hour total to at least 6 inches, with 13 inches falling in the past 48 hours and our seasonal snowfall total now sits at 142 inches. That overnight total may be a little conservative, but we won't know until we get up to the classic High Road Snow Plot.
Early morning temperatures range from 2 degrees at the top of the FourRunner Quad to 10 degrees in the base area, so bundle up Stowe Family and come enjoy the fresh snow.

FOUNDERS CUP SKI RACE 1/25 |
|
|
Please join us for this year’s Founders Cup Ski Race and be a part of the action on Saturday, January 25th. No race experience is required to be a part of this fun and approachable day of camaraderie and competition.
Teams can be comprised of members and invited guests; sign up as an individual, couple, family or form your own full team of up to 8 people. Racers who sign up individually, as well as smaller sized groups, will be assisted in forming full teams by Club staff. See Dan Ruane with any questions. We will only count the best 4 (handicapped) times to calculate your team score so it is a very low pressure format- this is about fun! Team times will be adjusted and handicaps are generated by age, gender and on snow discipline as skiers, snowboarders and telemark skiers are all welcome.
All participants are automatically enrolled in the individual division so that we can crown the fastest racers overall by gender, age and discipline. The individual divisions will not be handicapped.
The entry fee of $50 for everyone over 13 and $35 for all participants under 14 will include lunch, a commemorative gift, ski race with practice runs, Après race treats, live music and awards.
Please note, lunch on Saturday will be a buffet for all members.
