ACM's Pridgen Departing: Academy of Country Music Exec. Asst. to the CEO & CBO Kristan Pridgen is leaving the organization Nov. 22. Pridgen joined ACM in January of 2022 (CAT 2/18/22) and has prior stops at WME, Viacom and Onsite. She's seeking her next opportunity and can be reached here. Chronicle: Fiddle player Peter Stephen "Zeke" Dawson passed Nov. 11. He was 84. Dawson was born and raised in Maryland and started playing professionally at age 12. He was a member of Loretta Lynn's Coal Miners band for nearly a decade beginning in 1974. Memorials can be made to the Nashville Musicians Association here. Visitation will be 4-8pm Nov. 17 at Taylor Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be held at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Full obituary here. |
