Glass City Gig: Former Classic Country WSIG/Harrisonburg, VA morning host Bill Fox has been named OM for the seven station Cumulus/Toledo cluster, which includes Country WKKO and Classic Country WMIM, effective June 22. He will also host mornings on Classic Hits WRQN. He succeeds Jerry Mac, who departed in April (CAT 4/28). Fox joined WSIG in 2024 and left last fall (CAT 9/22/25). He previously was Brand Mgr. for WXCL/Peoria, IL, and also spent two years at sister WDEZ/Wausau, WI. Reach him here.

Roads Scholar: Tour Mgr. Matt Schneider has joined Greenhouse Management as Tour Dir. "Matt brings a level of organization, touring expertise and a creative mindset that is only going to elevate GHM," says Founder Kiley Donohoe. Music City July 4 in Nashville, and included in Disney Celebrates America: Nashville’s Star-Spangled Bash, airing/streaming live 7-10 pm (CT) on ABC, Disney+ and Hulu. Bits & Pieces: Radio One KKBQ/Houston morning hosts Andy "Riggs" Riggle, Erica Rico and Katelyn Maida challenged local graduating seniors to work “Riggs, Katelyn and Erica” and “93Q” into their commencement speeches. After viewing video entries, the team awarded one graduating high school student the opportunity to attend the Ella Langley show of her choice in Texas, along with a $500 cash prize and a Langley-signed guitar. Chronicle: Former Grand Ole Opry GM Robert "Bob" Whittaker died June 5 at his home in Baxter, TN. He was 85. Whittaker led the Opry as GM for nine years until his retirement. Services were held over the weekend. Full obituary here.
