Dear Laguna Honda Residents and Families,
It is with great joy that we share today’s news: Laguna Honda Hospital is recertified in the federal Medicare Provider Program! This means Laguna Honda is again part of both the Medicaid and Medicare Provider programs and we can celebrate the end of our recertification journey.
We express our appreciation to you, our Laguna Honda residents, and your loved ones, for your patience and trust. We know it has been a challenging and uncertain several years with the COVID-19 pandemic and CMS recertification process. We are forever grateful for your continued support.
We are proud of our Laguna Honda staff for their hard work and confident that we are now a much stronger skilled nursing facility.
Our priority is to make sure all the improvements made during the recertification process remain in place and that you feel them every day and in every interaction with your care team.
Today, we celebrate our incredible Laguna Honda community. It is difficult to put into words the gratitude we have for you, your loved ones, our staff, and everyone who made sure that Laguna Honda stays open for future generations of San Franciscans!
