UTA looks ahead at State of Higher Education
UTA President Jennifer Cowley spoke of the University's commitment to creating pathways for student success—from nurturing a thriving Greek Life community to adding innovative support programs such as Emerging Mavericks, created to help students who have experienced homelessness or aged out of the foster care. Emerging Mavericks now serves more than 100 students. The day ended with a touchdown when Dr. Cowley announced UTA will launch the first Division I women’s flag football program in Texas just as the sport is emerging in high schools across North Texas, including all in Arlington ISD. Read more about the topics covered in Cowley's State of Higher Education speech.

One-stop shop for remaining to-dos
The Division of Enrollment Management is hosting the Student Solutions Hub on Saturday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Check-in will be on the basement level of the University Administration Building, and there will be signage to help direct you from there. New and continuing students can visit this one-stop shop to take care of remaining to-dos before the semester begins, such as advising, registering for class, reviewing student account information, receiving financial aid information, and more. Walk-ins are welcome, but to help us better prepare to serve you, let us know you’re coming by signing up to attend.
