It’s a snowy day at Stowe as we ride the upslope flow. Snow was falling heavily at 6am with near blizzard conditions on the hill due to strong winds. We have received at least 5 inches of fresh snow overnight at the Lookout Plot, bringing us to a storm total of 8 inches on the upper mountain since it started early yesterday morning. Our seasonal snowfall total now sits at 104 inches.

FOUNDERS CUP SKI RACE 1/25
Please join us for this year’s Founder’s Cup Ski Race and be a part of the action on Saturday, January 25th. No race experience is required to be a part of this fun and approachable day of camaraderie and competition.
Teams can be comprised of members and invited guests; sign up as an individual, couple, family or form your own full team of up to 8 people. Racers who sign up individually, as well as smaller sized groups, will be assisted in forming full teams by Club staff. See Dan Ruane with any questions. We will only count the best 4 (handicapped) times to calculate your team score so it is a very low pressure format- this is about fun! Team times will be adjusted and handicaps are generated by age, gender and on snow discipline as skiers, snowboarders and telemark skiers are all welcome.
All participants are automatically enrolled in the individual division so that we can crown the fastest racers overall by gender, age and discipline. The individual divisions will not be handicapped.
The entry fee of $50 for everyone over 13 and $35 for all participants under 14 will include lunch, a commemorative gift, ski race with practice runs, Après race treats, live music and awards.

The Club's tail system on The Mountain Course is up and running and our new groomer is frankly, awesome! The Snow Rabbit 3x can deliver smooth wall-to-wall corduroy daily in half the time it used to. The new track attachment for classic skiing also provides state-of-the-art conditions. We ask that folks snow shoeing be aware not to damage the classic tracks. As a reminder, Club members get complimentary nordic instruction through Spruce Peak Outfitters! Contact the Concierge to learn more. View the trail map HERE.
