The third-annual UTHSC Giving Day is Tuesday, April 25! The 24-hour campaign encourages students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to support the university with financial contributions of any size. Stop by the food trucks in Health Sciences Park from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm and get a free meal with a $5 donation!

Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention

As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, OIED and SASSI are holding a presentation on Monday, April 24, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm in Freeman Auditorium and via Zoom. You’ll learn everything you need to know about sexual violence and what to do about it. Lunch will be provided.

| Volunteer with the Mid-South Food Bank
|
Join your UTHSC friends in volunteering at the Mid-South Food Bank Wednesday, April 26, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Volunteers will work on different tasks as needed, including sorting and boxing donated foods. Transportation will be provided, and volunteers will receive a free T-shirt.

Conversation on Health Disparities

RSVP for a Conversation on Health Disparities Friday, April 21 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm in GEB A102. The conversation will focus on how transit shortcomings impact access to health care in Memphis. Lunch will be provided.

| Complete Mandatory Compliance Training
|
All regular staff, faculty, and temporary employees must complete the annual Mandatory Compliance Training by Sunday, April 30. The training consists of eight online courses — seven on K@TE and one on HealthStream.
