Last week we announced a bonus reward: the In My Fall FUNDraiser Era vinyl sticker. To earn the sticker as a NEW participant, Girl Scouts simply need to log in to M2OS before the sale ends, create their avatar, and sell $50 in snacks, magazines, and/or online exclusive items. To earn this sticker as a RETURNING participant, Girl Scouts will need to increase their total sales by $50 over last year.

Sticker earners are eligible to be randomly selected to win an In My Girl Scout Era sweatshirt. Winners will be announced in late October. You can view last year’s sales info on your M2OS dashboard under TP in the top right corner>change season>reports>all sales. Or reach out and we can help!

Troop bonus opportunities:

Sunday, October 20, is the last day for snack order card sales. There’s still time for members to participate with online sales continuing through October 27. Connect with your Girl Scouts and families to remind them to enter the snack order card sales or determine if you will be doing this for them. See the schedule below on the deadlines for users to enter snack orders into M2OS.

Note: users are locked out of entering orders once their deadline has passed. If you are entering the snack order card sales for families, ask that they email or text you a picture of the girl’s snack order card.

If a Girl Scout is not listed in M2OS after October 20, contact River Valleys to have them added to the system. Once added, you will be able to add their snack order card sales. Nothing needs to be submitted for online snack, magazine, Barkbox, Tervis, or personalized product orders. These orders are already credited to the Girl Scout and the troop at the time of purchase.

If a Girl Scout reaches a sales level where there is a choice between an item and Fall FUNds, these choices can be made by the family or troop until October 27 at 11:59 PM. If a selection is not made by the deadline, the reward will be defaulted to Fall FUNds.

Note: Community/Area volunteers cannot make reward choices for Girl Scouts.

When entering the snack order card sales, girl rewards will not automatically update. These entries are updated every hour, on the hour. You may need to enter the snack order card sales and then return later to make reward choices. M2OS will also send a reminder to families to make a choice, if needed.

Girl Scouts who select Fall FUNds will receive a card in the mail after the program has ended. This card can be used for all redemption options included on our Rewards for Fall FUNDraiser webpage. For returning Girl Scout Juliettes, their Juliette proceeds will be added to their existing card, and you will receive a letter in the mail. New Juliettes will receive a Juliette Program Credit card in the mail.

As you wrap up the sale, ensure your troop bank account info in M2OS is correct. The info is required for Girl Scouts River Valleys to process either the balance due withdrawal or refund deposit ACH in December. Go to Banking & Payments on your M2OS dashboard. Click anywhere on the row showing your troop’s payments, which will open a new page. From that page, click on the Manage ACH button and follow the steps to edit the information if needed. Complete by October 30.

Girl Scout Juliettes do not have troop bank accounts. Instead, they deposit any cash/checks collected for the Fall FUNDraiser into Girl Scouts River Valleys’ Wells Fargo bank account using deposit tickets encoded with the Juliette number. Deposit tickets will be mailed out to participating Juliette’s by the end of October.

This weekend is a great time to connect with troops to see if they need any assistance or have questions on orders and order deadlines. Remind them of the order entry timeline and to communicate with families about how their snack order card sales should be entered (by the troop or the families). Send a quick email, text, or post on your service unit Facebook page or in Rallyhood.

To view troops with sales, go to the Reports tab on your service unit dashboard in M2OS. Scroll through the troops or print, download, or export a report at the bottom of the page. If you notice a participating troop has not entered any sales, reach out to the troop volunteer with a friendly reminder of the deadline.
