Welcome Troop Leaders & Troop Cookie Managers
Welcome to the first edition of The Cookie Press for troops! Our staff has been hard at work designing a program to help your Girl Scouts succeed in 2025. No matter how your Girl Scouts participate this year, they will benefit by learning the five skills of the Cookie Program: decision-making, money management, goal setting, business ethics, and people skills. To get you ready for Cookie Go Day on February 21, we’ll deliver a new edition each week filled with program updates and “just in time” reminders to keep you on track.
Bookmark Cookie Central, your go-to-hub for all cookie resources including the Troop Cookie Manager Guidebook, Smart Cookies and Digital Cookie instructions, family resources, and reward details. Share this resource with your troop families too. It’s updated regularly to keep you organized and ready for the season.
Completing cookie training each year ensures that you understand the important program updates, key dates, and your role during the season. Your Community-Area Product Leader will contact you to give you details of your training options.
- You’ll find our Online Troop Cookie Manager Training in gsLearn the week of December 16. More details to come.
Calling all new Troops! If you are a new Troop cookie manager, don’t forget to also review the 477 Troop Cookie Foundations video in gsLearn. This will help orient you to your role and responsibilities before learning more about the details of this year’s Cookie Program.
Save the date for a special Cookie Information Session for new troop leaders with the Product Program Team. It’s scheduled for January 9 at 6:30 PM. Registration details will come in a future edition of The Cookie Press.
