The NJCU Department of Psychology is seeking non-U.S. born Hispanic immigrant parents raising a child aged 5-10 to volunteer in an online parental survey of 20-30 minutes. Responses are anonymous and will help the investigators understand challenges faced by migrant families in the U.S. Results will be disseminated for peer-review and used for intervention and training programs.

Recent events have deeply affected the Greenville NJCU community, impacting mental health. Acknowledging the distress, we're here to support, listen, and empathize. The Counseling Center and Speicher-Rubin Women's Center provide confidential services, including counseling, support groups, and assistance from Venida Rodman Jenkins, our victim advocate. Your mental health matters to us.

Vaccines are provided at no cost to all individuals. Walk-ins are welcome. Updated 2023-2024 formulas of the Moderna and Pfizer COVID vaccines are offered at all vaccination clinics for anyone six months and older. Free flu vaccines are also available for individuals 18 years of age or older.

Orientation is designed to help prepare new students for college life at NJCU. You will learn about tools and resources available to NJCU students, make any last minute schedule changes, connect with other new and current NJCU students, and meet academic advisors and faculty members.

We will review important information to assist you and your student navigate campus life, financial aid, payments/billing, and finding resources for personal well-being. Students and parents are also invited to join us for lunch in the Gilligan Student Multipurpose Room.

A passionate advocate and mentor, Senator McKnight is a former adjunct faculty member at NJCU and instructs at the Rising Tide Capital Community Business Academy. Her dedication to service and education continues to inspire and uplift those around her.
