Best Coast: Saying the changes "better position us for continued success,” Connoisseur SVP/Programming Keith Dakin has named San Francisco OM Brian "Fig" Figula Regional OM for the Bay Area, including day-to-day programming responsibilities for KBAY, as reported earlier today (7/23) via Breaking News. Dakin has also given Portland, OR, OM Ross MacLeod added day-to-day programming responsibilities for KUPL. Meanwhile, KBAY MD/afternoon personality Emily Harlan has added middays on KUPL, succeeding MD Jamie "J.T." Tanchyk, who recently segued to afternoons at Top 40 sister KBFF (CAT 7/6). Harlan had most recently been doing weekends on KUPL, and previously tracked nights there.

Kerns To Leave CMA/CMAF: "One of the greatest gifts of serving both the CMA and CMA Foundation boards has been seeing the full picture … one board strengthening an industry, the other investing in its future," says outgoing CMA SVP/Industry Relations & Philanthropy and CMA Foundation Exec. West Departs: KGY Media KYYO/Olympia/Tacoma, WA afternoon host Jonathan "JW" West has departed after just a few months on the job. Prior to joining the station (CAT 4/21), he did overnights at Top 40 KQMV/Seattle and weekends at Country sister KPNW. Prior stops include WKTI/Milwaukee and WUSN/Chicago. No word on plans for the position at KYYO. West is seeking a new opportunity; reach him here.

Tour Support: Garth Brooks has added back-to-back shows at Denver's Ball Arena Sept. 4-5 to his Blame It All On My Roots Arena Tour (CAT 7/17). Tickets go on sale next Friday (7/31) here.
