Meet MyUTA: Your Maverick life, organized

Launching next month, MyUTA is a one-stop destination for your UTA experience! Users can access frequently used tools, such as academic resources, UTA email, campus maps, and parking availability. MyUTA will be hosted at my.uta.edu, which will be the new way to find MyMav. There will be no changes to the MyMav login process.

Queer talk

In honor of LGBTQ History Month, the School of Social Work is excited to host the actress, comedian, Saturday Night Live alumna, and LGBTQIA+ icon Punkie Johnson today, Tuesday, Oct. 22. RSVP for the free event.

Veo scooters and bikes available at UTA

The Veo micro-mobility program has added convenient and sustainable travel options for UTA and downtown Arlington. Special discounts will be available through November. More information is available on the Parking and Transportation Services website.

Get ready for a spooktacular evening on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 6:30 p.m. at College Park Center. UTA’s women’s basketball team will take on University of North Texas at Dallas in a free exhibition game. Enjoy Halloween fun, including a trunk-or-treat, a costume contest, a balloon artist, a bounce house, and so much more.

Unsaddled docuseries

The fourth episode of Unsaddled takes a look at men's basketball newcomers, women's basketball's new strength and conditioning coach, volleyball's 16-2 start to the season, and a fall wrap-up for men's golf.

Día de los Muertos

Mavericks, attend the Festival de Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead Festival) Monday, Nov. 4, 5-7 p.m. on the Maverick Activities Center lawn. There will be free food, music, a catrina contest, and so much more.

First-Generation Celebration

The Office of Transition Programs and Services is thrilled to host the First-Generation Celebration Monday, Nov. 4, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the sixth floor of the UTA Central Library. The event will feature first-generation stories, networking, food, and giveaways. RSVP today. Code of conduct review

Help shape the Student Code of Conduct by providing your insights Nov. 4-8, from 2-4 p.m. in the University Center. This is your chance to make your voice heard and impact the student experience. McNair Scholars Program

The McNair Scholars Program at UTA is accepting applications through Friday, Nov. 15. McNair Scholars receive a $4,000 stipend for a summer research internship, prep for Graduate Record Examinations, graduate school application fee waivers, opportunities to participate in research seminars and events, and career development support.
