NJCU Foundation Scholarships: Apply Now! 

Application Deadline: Wednesday, December 11, 2024

We are excited to share that applications for Fall 2024 Foundation scholarships are now available and being accepted for qualifying students! These scholarships can cover tuition and fees, housing, and any additional fees not covered by grants. These scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, there will be a range of awards granted to eligible students.

All qualifying students have received an email to apply via GothicNet. The application deadline is December 11, 2024.

If the student is selected, they will receive an email notification from Mabel Sanchez by January 2025.

2024 Gifts From the Heart Program

Dear NJCU Community,

Each year, the NJCU Gifts from the Heart Committee collects, wraps, and distributes gifts for children and families in our Jersey City community and beyond.

This year, the committee continues to collect toys for the RWJ Children’s Hospital of New Jersey and new clothes and toys for children through our partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Essex, Hudson, & Union Counties.

Won't you help us help these wonderful organizations this year with your generosity?

Please consider opening a wish list below to sponsor a child. All gifts must be unwrapped and labeled with the child’s name, age, and number on the list.

WHAT WE NEED for RWJ Children’s Hospital of New Jersey:
Unwrapped gifts for children ages 4 to 17 including toys, games, and books. Please no clothing, or video games unless it is the complete handheld console (i.e. Gameboy).

WHAT WE NEED for Big Brothers Big Sisters:
New clothes and toys for children through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Essex, Hudson & Union. Please review the Big Brothers Big Sisters wishlist and complete the donor form.

When dropping off donations please make sure all gifts are unwrapped and labeled with the child’s name, age and gift # on the list.

DROP OFF your donations anytime during the month of November, from November 1-30 at one of the following locations:
