Augusta University offers a variety of intramural funding opportunities for full-time faculty to support their research, scholarship, and creative activities. Grants are awarded through a competitive process. Applications are peer-reviewed by a dedicated Research Advisory Committee and scored based on their merit and the productivity of the Principal Investigator (PIs). To better acquaint our faculty with the process of applying for these funding opportunities, the Summerville Interdisciplinary Research Office (SIRO) will offer informational sessions on the following ongoing intramural opportunities:

Research Scholarship and Creative Activity (RSCA):

Due date 10/01/2026 by 5 p.m.

 

Intramural Grants Program (IGP):

Applications accepted three times a year on 3/15, 7/15 and 11/15.

*In the event an application deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, the application will be due on the following business day.

*All funding is contingent upon availability and remains subject to institutional budgetary constraints.
