Pop some popcorn and settle in for a movie night with Kanopy's Most Watched Films of 2024! Kanopy is free for library cardholders and features a diverse collection of documentaries, classic films, children's shows, and more! Lake Travis Senior Services: The Benefits of Aquatic Physical Therapy - Tuesday, January 14th at 10:30am

We are thrilled to partner with Lake Travis Senior Services for their ongoing speaker series. In this session, Dr. Melody Medley-Keith will explain the benefits of aquatic physical therapy for seniors, including how it can help you rehabilitate faster and with less pain. Join us in the library's meeting room for this informative program. 

 

Homeschool Program: Lunar New Year - Wednesday, January 15th at 1pm

Experienced educator Mei Szeto will present the traditions of the Lunar New Year with storytelling, music, games, and hands-on activities. Szeto, who was born in Hong Kong, graduated from UT Austin with a master's degree in Education and has taught Chinese for over 20 years. Join Mei to celebrate the year of the Snake!

 

Pokémon Club - Wednesday, January 15th at 4:30pm

All ages are invited to trade Pokémon cards, engage in battles, learn how to make an origami Pikachu, and more at Pokémon Club!

 

Adult Crafts: Jewelry Making - Thursday, January 16th at 10:30am

Learn how to make jewelry with library staff member Beth Yoder. She will have all the tools and supplies you need to make something unique and beautiful! 

 

Multi-Generational Financial Planning - Tuesday, January 21st at 10:30am

Explore the importance of multi-generational financial planning with Carli Smith, Founder of Signal Wealth Advisors. If you have financial needs that go beyond your personal needs, such as aging parents or young children, then this class is for you!
