DUKE HAPPENINGS ON THE 'HILL'
Last week, Miranda McCall, Associate Vice Provost & Director of Financial Support, met with staff in several offices throughout the NC congressional delegation to discuss impacts on Duke students and North Carolina of proposed changes to federal student aid grants and loans. Also on Capitol Hill, Emily Edwards, associate research professor for electrical and computer engineering, joined colleagues from other higher education institutions speaking at a briefing to provide congressional staff from across the country with a foundational understanding of quantum science, technology, education and workforce development.
