Orange County hosted its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 11 to honor and recognize the men and women who have bravely served in the United States Armed Forces.
Due to unseasonably cold weather, the ceremony was moved indoors to the Southern Human Services Center rather than being held at the Orange County Veterans Memorial, as originally planned. Despite the change in venue, the event maintained its solemn and respectful atmosphere, bringing together veterans, their families, county and local officials, and community members to pay tribute to those who have dedicated their lives to service.
The ceremony featured Brig. Gen. Vivek Kshetrapal, Deputy Commanding General of the U.S. Army Reserve’s 81st Readiness Division, as the keynote speaker. Brig. Gen. Kshetrapal delivered an inspiring message emphasizing the enduring values of duty, sacrifice, and community.
Orange County extends its heartfelt gratitude to all veterans and active-duty service members for their commitment and courage.
