Lipscomb Academy Upper School Parents,
As part of our commitment to achieving the goals outlined in the Next Level Strategic Plan, specifically Goal 4: Academic Excellence, Lipscomb Academy has been evaluating the need for a director of academics. This role is crucial for fostering a cohesive educational journey for our students, enhancing the continuity and alignment of our curriculum, instructional practices, and academic excellence from preK-2 through grade 12.
Dr. Jesse Savage has agreed to step into this pivotal role. His extensive experience and dedication to academic excellence make him an ideal fit for this faculty-facing and professional development position.
A national search will start for the head of upper school position immediately.
To ensure a smooth transition, Dr. Savage will continue to serve as the head of upper school until a highly qualified individual is identified to lead our students and faculty in grades 9-12.
We are excited about the opportunities this transition presents for our community and are confident that Dr. Savage's leadership will greatly contribute to our ongoing pursuit of academic excellence.
