Gray Swan, the AI security company born out of Carnegie Mellon University's pioneering AI safety research team, has announced a $40M Series A round co-led by Wing Venture Capital and Madrona with participation from Obvious Ventures, Snowflake Ventures, Hudson River Trading, Samsung Next and existing investor Magarac Venture Partners.

CMU alumnus Justin Shaka is an experienced medical device executive and entrepreneur currently involved with the company, and as of 2025–2026, he is supporting NetraMind's commercialization and operational strategy. This is not a traditional corporate internship. It is a hands-on operational role working directly with startup leadership.
