Central College invites you to celebrate “Dutch Around the World,” during Homecoming , Oct. 2-4. We would love to have you visit and enjoy the traditions of our Lemming Race, football, tailgate party, reunions and a few new events like the opera, “Trouble in Tahiti.” View the full schedule of events and activities. Registration is open until Tuesday, Sept. 22. Many events are free thanks to our sponsor ATI Group. Registration helps ensure we have food and resources for your enjoyment.

And, thank you for an incredible show of support for Central students during the 48-Hour Challenge! It brought our Central family together to open doors and create opportunities through scholarships. The numbers are still being tabulated and we’ve already secured more than $187,300! Thank you for helping Central students thrive!

Central will welcome world-renowned speakers this fall — Howard Buffett on Wednesday, Sept. 30, and Heather Lynch on Tuesday, Oct. 6. You will want to hear their stories about doing a world of good. Watch for alumni announcements coming soon.

Orleath Vogelaar Ingle ’47 and her husband, Glenn, have made annual gifts to Central since they were married in 1963! Learn why Orleath is passionate about supporting Central students.

Heather Lynch, associate professor of ecology and evolution at Stony Brook University, will be in conversation with Harry Smith ’73, 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, in Douwstra Auditorium. She’ll discuss Antarctic wildlife such as penguins. More to come.
