Registration for spring classes
Registration for Spring 2026 classes opens on the following dates at 7 a.m.; continuous registration will be available through Jan. 31, 2026, at 12 p.m. noon:

- Nov. 12 for Sophomores
- Nov. 14 for First-Year Students

JHU student survey on sexual misconduct
JHU is inviting students to participate in a survey on sexual misconduct. The results of the survey will be used to guide policies and initiatives to encourage a healthy and safe environment for all JHU students.
A survey link has been emailed to all students; please submit your response by Dec. 9. As a token of our appreciation, approximately 20% of students who complete the survey will be randomly selected to receive a $15 Amazon gift card. If you have questions about the survey or have difficulty accessing it, please e-mail ClimateSurvey@jhu.edu.

National First-Generation College Student Day is a nationwide acknowledgement of those scholars who are the first in their families to pursue higher education. Here at Hopkins, we have joined in celebrating FLI Day every November to show our appreciation and support for our first-generation and limited-income students as well as our "FLI Proud" faculty, staff, and alumni.
Join us for this year's celebration this Saturday, Nov. 8, from 12 to 2 p.m. on Keyser Quad. It's sure to be a fun afternoon of community, art, activities, and more! This year’s theme, Rooted in Wellness, Rising with Purpose, reflects our community’s commitment to growing from a place of strength, balance, and intention.

On Nov. 10, HEART/HEROIC classes end; additionally, Nov. 10 at 4:30 p.m. is the deadline to drop for Fall Term 2, or to withdraw from SOUL courses.

Coming soon: CSS Saturdays
Looking to polish up your study skills as finals approach? Interested in some subject-specific tutoring support? Join the Center for Student Success for CSS Saturdays: Study with a Tutor. These sessions offer all students the chance to study with both community and academic support. Whether you're tackling chemistry, physics, calculus, computer science, or just need general study help, Learning Den tutors and study consultants will be on hand to assist. Come by the CSS on Nov. 15, Dec. 6, and Dec. 13 between 12 to 4 p.m. and enjoy some snacks and pizza while you work.

Donate to create Kits of Kindness
For people experiencing homelessness, everyday essentials make a difference. Join the Off-Campus Housing office in donating supplies and thoughtful notes that will be assembled into Kits of Kindness to be distributed to our neighbors in need. Donations will be accepted through Nov. 11; you can also give back by helping build the kits on Nov. 13! Learn more and sign up in Hopkins Groups.

Examining the COVID-19 pandemic response
Join a panel of authors and experts for the first in a series of discussions examining how scientific evidence, policy implementation, and public communication intersected during the pandemic. Hosted by JHU in collaboration with American Enterprise Institute, the event will be held at the Bloomberg School of Public Health on Nov. 6 at 2 p.m.; learn more and register in advance to attend.
Veterans Day speaker event
Honor Veterans Day at a lunchtime event featuring General David H. Berger, 38th Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps, on Nov. 11 in the Glass Pavilion. Programming begins at 11 a.m., followed by lunch provided by Mission BBQ. Presented by the JHU Veterans Employee Resource Group and the Hopkins Veterans & Allies Employee Resource Group. Get your flu shot by Nov. 21
Flu season is here, and all JHU students are required to receive the annual flu vaccine no later than Nov. 21. Learn more about the flu vaccine policy, where and how to get vaccinated on campus, and documentation requirements when receiving the vaccine from other providers.
Call for contributors: Meatless Monday
Every Monday the @jhuwellbeing IG account features a vegetarian dish, and we're looking for student contributors. We will purchase produce and specialty ingredients; all you have to do is cook the recipe and send us some photos. For more information, including deadlines, contact wellbeing@jhu.edu.

eSports Lounge is now open in the BSC
The eSports Lounge, found on the 3rd floor of the Bloomberg Student Center is now accessible whenever the student center is operating normal business hours. Additional information about the space can be obtained from the Creative Media Center (located on the 4th floor of the BSC).
Cookie Connection returns on Nov. 6
Cookie Connection is back! On Nov. 6 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., the Off-Campus Housing and On-Campus Living teams will be outside of Charles Street Market, sharing resources AND delicious cookies! RSVP to make sure it’s on your calendar!
Hop Talks heads to the BMA
Join the Center for Social Concern on Nov. 19 as they continue their series of Hop Talks events focused on social movements. Visit the Baltimore Museum of Art to view the photography installation Heavy with History: Devin Allen and the Baltimore Uprising, and then head back to the CSC to enjoy a free lunch and small group reflections. Walk-in hours for Conflict Resolution Resources
The Office of Student Conduct's Conflict Resolution Resources has walk-in hours! On Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., visit the office to speak with their staff and learn about available resources for conflict navigation. Their office is in the AMR II Ground Level Annex (behind the Blue Jay statue).
