Rita Osborn Recognition
Rita Osborn Recognized by National Association
Rita Osborn is the recipient of this year's Outstanding Educator by the National Rural Health Association. The award is given to an individual who has dedicated time and talents to improving the health and well-being of others. Rita directs the Utah Center for Rural Health here at SUU and has spent a quarter-century promoting health education.

Hughes General Contractors Donation
Hughes General Contractors Makes Donation
Two of our programs were the beneficiaries of a generous donation last month from Hughes General Contractors. The $150,000 contribution was presented to the STEM Center and Construction Management program in an effort to cultivate interest around engineering and construction from an early age and support college education.

August 28: Fall Semester Begins. View fall semester calendar. 
August 29: SUU Football at Utah Tailgate and Football Game. Tailgate begins at 5 p.m. and kick-off is at 7 p.m. Save the date and plan to join us as we cheer on the Thunderbirds. Watch for more details or contact the Alumni Relations Office for more information.
