Seasonal HVAC Transition: Building Temperature Fluctuations Expected |
With fall weather in full swing, you may notice some temperature fluctuations in your building over the coming weeks. Most building systems are currently configured for a single mode—either heating or cooling—and cannot respond simultaneously to the day-to-day swings in outdoor conditions this time of year.
Facilities Management is closely monitoring the forecast and will switch buildings to heating mode on a building-by-building basis as conditions allow.
If you have questions about when your building is scheduled to make the switch, please reach out to Cenergistic energy specialist Thomas Van Wert at tvanwert@iona.edu.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
